Markings:
A few of the brooches have the following makers marks - Disney (Eeyore); Buch and Deichmann (tan coloured bird style plastic brooch); Danecraft (kittens with coffee cup); A.R.Brown (Owl); Gerry's (the large owl with a blue cabochon body). I may have missed one or two others.
Details:
Silvertone and goldtone base metals and plated metals, some with enamel detail, some with paste stones, some with marcasite and some with feathers. The Buch and Deichmann bird style brooch is made from plastic and the the owl and the fox are made from pewter. The fox is a pin style brooch, rather than the traditional clasp and pin style. Most are vintage but a few, like Eeyore are more modern.
Condition Report:
All in good to very good condition with no damage, missing stones (that I can see) or damage to the clasps and pins, apart from the odd minor bend in places.
They do have some age related wear in places, including some enamel wear to a few and some light surface metal wear and tarnish but nothing unexpected for vintage and pre-used pieces.
