Primitive Forged Iron Herb Chopper, Farmhouse Find

This offering is for one antique primitive wrought iron herb and food choppers. Single curved blade chopper. The chopper is constructed of hand wrought iron metal blade, most likely made by a blacksmith.  This cutting chopping tool is perfect for your country kitchen decor to hang from a beam or display in a wooden bowl.

The chopper has been selected from my collection from over the past 40 years of collecting and I have finally decided to move them on to someone else.

The chopper is in very good used condition with the blades having some rust in spots, and with oxidation marks, but still has a fairly sharp edge.  I have not cleaned these chopper, as found years ago from many country farmhouse auctions.

APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENT

Chopper measures 6-1/2" in length across the blade and utensil's height is 4". 

CONDITION

Condition of chopper are consistent with its age and decades of use. I would say in very good condition, with blade having scattered rust and pitting.

This early choppers can be displayed in your period home and enjoyed for years to come!!
