An Authentic Antique Map: Not a Modern Reproduction!  

Description:  It is an authentic copper engraved antique map approximately 186 years old with original hand coloring as issued, blank on reverse. It is from William Murphy's A Comprehensive Classical Atlas with a Memoir on Ancient Geography, published in Edinburgh and London 1832, a facsimile copy of the title page is included for authenticity. The map is "Drawn and Engraved by W. Murphy, Edinburgh," as stated in the upper margin. It is not matted nor framed being sold as a single sheet as shown in the main pic. Overall, a very nice small size map that would frame up well.  Overall, a rare miniature map with a nice antique quality that would frame up well.

Size: The dimensions of the map area between the neat lines measures 3 1/4 by 4 1/4 inches (8x11cm) on a 4 by 5 1/2 inch page (10x14cm) with a margin all around as seen in the pic. 

Condition: The map is in Good to Very Good condition for its age, blank on reverse with tonal ageing and darkening around the edges, see the pic for more on condition. Overall, a nice rare miniature map with an antique appearance many desire. The pics are of the actual map.
