Evelyn Stone Holland, Willard Stone's daughter, made jewelry using the image of her dad's sculptures and shared the story her dad told about the  sculptures.  The information with the jewelry collection said the material is pewter and silver, but that I can not verify.       Additional information: "SOMETHING TO BELIEVE IN" design is taken from a piece of art created by WILLARD STONE< (1916-1968) INTERNATIONALLY FAMED CHEROKEE (NGED) INDIAN WOODSCULPTOR AND ARTIST FROM LOCUST GROVE, OKLA.  MR. STONE'S WORKS ARE HOUSED IN MUSEUMS AND PRIVATE COLLECTIONS ACROSS THE NATION AND ABROAD.  "Something to Believe In" IS PART OF THE "WILLARD STONE COLLECTION" A UNIQUE COLLECTION OF FINE HANDCRAFTED PEWTER AND SILVER JEWELRY DESIGNED AND CREATED BY EVELYN STONE HOLLAND, DAUGHTER OF THE ARTIST.
The story:  "We have to believe in three basic things:  Our kids and their future, represented by the little Cherokee boy, and get them to understand and believe in nature, or the good earth upon which their life depends, represented by the terripan, and third - the Great Spirit, or God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, represented by three feathers in the boy's hair.
