Xena and Gabrielle PP11 Portraits of a Warrior insert/chase card art by Patricia Parker from Art & Images in 2004 by Rittenhouse in 2004. Inspired from the episode, "When Fates Collide" written by Katherine Fugate.

Empress Xena gazes out into the night, accidentally catching a glimpse of the beautiful Bard/Playwright Gabrielle as she relaxes after a bath with only a towel draped around her. She lets out a gasp, overcome with emotion, turning around, but not before she issues a warning,"You should leave Rome" trying to protect her from the persecution which was yet to come as the ruling class did not like free thinkers which could cause civil unrest. Even Xena was surprised at the emotion that was evoked by that brief meeting...as the chokehold of Caesars' and Alti's magic weave by the threatened Fates started to unravel...

The artist, Patricia Parker, used the likeness of the co-stars of the hit show, "Xena: Warrior Princess": Lucy Lawless as Empress Xena and Renee O'Connor (ROC) as Bard/Playwright Gabrielle in creating her art that became the images here.

*Any lines/specks/blurriness in the picture is from an old scanner-dust under glass that I could not remove (my apologies), not the card.*
