The crown cap is distinctive.

In 1942, the U.S. Army formed the Army's 1st Ranger Corps when it landed in North Africa. He later served as a Green Beret during the Vietnam War.
In 1943, the U.S. Navy Special Forces UTD was formed and became the current Navy SEALs. Special Forces UTD participated in the North African landings and the Normandy landings.
In order to carry out operations underwater, it was important to maintain ``waterproofness'', which was one of the weak points of watches at the time.A special cap was installed on the crown part, where water was most likely to enter the movement, to prevent water from entering. Efforts have been made to prevent this. Also, a short chain was used to connect the cap so that it would not fall when removed.

Special forces UTD watches with distinctive crown caps were produced by Elgin and Hamilton and delivered to the Navy.

This product has a cylindrical crown cap and is a reprint of the Hamilton type.
Among them, we have reproduced a very rare model with a dial equipped with a water immersion pointer that indicates the intrusion of water or moisture with a change in color. This ``water immersion pointer'' is often seen on military watches for divers from this era. Buships Watch
It is a very rare individual to be adopted. The color tells you that water has entered the watch, prompting you to repair the watch before it breaks, and letting you know that the time displayed on the watch is not accurate. The circular water immersion pointer at 6 o'clock on the Buships UDT Pointer dial is normally dark orange, but turns green when moisture enters the watch. This flood pointer has been reprinted using the original technology developed over two years by M.R.M.W.
The belt is a bellows extension belt.

This is a quartz wristwatch that is a reproduction of the watch (commonly known as the Frogman) used by the U.S. Navy Special Forces UTD.
