M-1 design for high sound quality
We have adopted the M-1 design, which is an evolution of the simple and functional symmetrical design that Marantz has cultivated over more than half a century of history. The front panel has a three-piece structure made of aluminum alloy and highly rigid glass fiber reinforced resin, and while ensuring chassis rigidity, the split subframe structure disperses vibration modes and suppresses unnecessary resonance.
Equipped with current feedback discrete power amplifier
All channels are equipped with full discrete current feedback power amplifiers of the same quality. Current feedback power amplifiers have an excellent circuit configuration with a high slew rate, high speed, and a large amount of information over a wide band. Marantz has applied the technology that it has refined over many years in HiFi components to improve the sound quality of AV amplifiers. It boasts high power with a practical maximum output of 210W (6Ω)/rated output of 170W (6Ω). With a powerful power supply circuit and low impedance circuit, it is possible to output more than 70% of the rated output even when driving 5 channels.
large aluminum heat sink
The power amplifier block is mounted on a large chimney-shaped aluminum heatsink that has high rigidity and low resonance. The alumite treatment improves heat dissipation efficiency, suppresses variations between channels, and improves the connection of sounds and spatial reproduction ability.
Powerful power circuit that supports high power
Equipped with a powerful power supply circuit to ensure sufficient power supply even during multi-channel operation. A large EI core transformer and Marantz original large capacity block capacitors (33,000μF x 2) achieve high instantaneous current supply capability. Large speakers that require driving force can also be driven at high speed.
Unbalanced and balanced input equipment
All channels are equipped with both unbalanced and balanced input terminals. It can be used depending on the preamplifier used.
Adopts screw type speaker terminals for all channels
All speaker terminals use screw types that allow secure cable connections. Also compatible with banana plugs. Gold-plated processing is applied to prevent aging and signal deterioration, ensuring a high-quality connection.
Various system upgrades possible
By combining 5ch MM7055 and 2ch MM7025, it is possible to build a variety of systems such as 5ch, 7ch, and 9ch.
Low power standby mode
Considering the environment and energy saving, power consumption in standby mode has been kept to less than 0.2W.
auto standby mode
If there is no input signal for 30 minutes, it will automatically enter standby mode. Reduces wasteful power consumption due to forgetting to turn off the power. (Factory: OFF)
