Inspired by "The Tiffany Lampshade" in style.
Selling a delightful, vintage scalloped pendant lampshade, with a drop fringe.  It dates from the 1970's, but looks 1950's in era and style.  No maker's label.
It has 8 ribbed sections, which creates the scallop shape.
The pink & cream fabric has had a polymer layer applied to the inside of the shade, to protect it from the heat of a lamp.  The fabric has a "smudged" patination, similar in appearance to silk.  A cream edging fabric has been used to disguise the outer ribs and edge of the shade.  Around the hem of the lamp are 10cm droplets of glass tubular beads and Rocaille seed beads, interspersed with polymer crystals and faux pearls.  There are no losses from the drops.  Approximately 18 droplets to each section.
It measures 42cm diameter at the bottom (16.5"), 21cm in height (8")  (plus 10cm droplets, (4")), with an 11cm opening aperture at the top (4.25").  It weighs 802g.
This is a stunning lampshade which I have photographed placed onto a standard lamp for your perusal.  It is not suitable as a table or standard lampshade, as the lamp would protrude from the top.
Really lovely.
I shall post Evri.
