This is a terrific head-and-shoulders 90mm portrait lens.  The maximum aperture of f/2.8 allows for a blurred background.  When used for portraits or landscapes, rotate the switch to "Limit" to lock out the macro distances.

But it is also a world-class macro lens, strikingly sharp all the way to 1:1.  For tabletop photography, rotate the switch to "Full".  A push-pull ring allows a choice between autofocus (AF) and manual focus (M).  Do not miss this one.  I am 100%.  Don't spend $400 for a new one!
