Early 1900s Keuffel & Esser Co New York compass in a mahogany case with brass latch. Mahogany wood case measures 3⅛ x 3 inches.  4 cardinal points (fleur-de-lis for North) on silvered plate with an outer silvered and raised ring in four, 90 degree quadrants. Exterior shows use and age to finish.  Wood inside could use a skilled and careful cleaning or enjoy as is. Working brass latch.  Metal face is excellent and jeweled needle spins freely.  Glass is original and free of cracks or gouges.
