■Precautions when using the whetstone: For better use, soak the whetstone in water for 5 to 6 minutes before use to get a smoother sharpening sensation. Please do not soak it in water for a long time. After use, wipe off any moisture. If you leave it wet or wrapped in a wet towel, the whetstone will become soft and its durability will decrease. Do not leave it outdoors or in direct sunlight. This may cause weathering and cracking. Please do not dry it too quickly. Placing it in a place exposed to direct wind such as from a fan may cause cracks. Please store at room temperature. If you place it in an abnormally high temperature place, such as a closed car outdoors, it may crack. Please do not pour hot water on it. Extreme temperature differences can cause cracks. Please do not apply detergent etc. Qualitative changes occur and the ability to sharpen is impaired. Please do not use the dishwasher or dryer. This may cause cracks due to sudden temperature changes or chipping due to impact.
