This medallion cover celebrates 75 years of the classic Holden 48-215 (FX).

In 1948, General Motors Holden completed the challenge of building the nation's first successfully mass-produced car – the Holden 48-215 sedan, which became known as the FX. It quickly became a national sensation, making Holden a household name and becoming Australia's top-selling passenger car by 1950. The FX boasted unitary construction, offering comfort for six passengers, and excelled in Australia's rugged conditions thanks to its reliable, six-cylinder OHV "grey" motor and three-speed manual gearbox. In 1951, the original sedan was joined by the 50-2106 utility, and in 1953, the 48 215-257 Business sedan.
This limited medallion cover celebrates 75 years since the first Holden 48-215 sedan rolled off the line.
