Description: It is an original antique copperplate engraved map on paper with handcoloring approximately 183 years old. It is from A. Arrowsmith's New General Atlas, published in London, by J.P. Chidley, circa 1836. A copy of the title page is included for authenticity. It was drawn by A. Arrowsmith, stated in the bottom left margin, and was engraved by Sydney Hall, as stated in the bottom right margin. It is not mounted nor matted, being sold as a single sheet as seen in the main pic.
Size: The map image area is approximately 8x10 inches on a 9 1/2 by 12" (24x30cm) page
Condition: The map is in Very Good to Excellent condition for its age with light tonal ageing, blank on the reverse, printed on strong paper. Other than one light smudge in the margin, it is very clean, see the pic for more on condition. Pics are of the actual map.
