Description: This is a set of four photos on one very large folding sheet, all of the same lunar field on various dates photographed by the observatories at Mount Wilson (W), Pic du Midi (PM), McDonald (M) and Yerks (Y). The sheet has a horizontal and vertical fold separating the photos in quadrants as seen in the main pic. It is from the 1960 edition of Kuiper's Photographic Lunar Atlas, published by the University of Chicago Press, edited by Gerard P. Kuiper, which is fully stated in the bottom margin. There is a copyright date of 1960 by the University of Chicago also in the bottom margin. It is not a digital reprint but the actual photo published in 1960 as seen in the main pic. The intent of the publication was for use with telescopes. A copy of the title page is included, which also has a reference stamp to the Library of the Naval Research Laboratory from which it was discarded; thus, it has an interesting provenance. It is being sold as seen in the main pic, not mounted, matted nor framed.

Size: The entire sheet measures 34x42 inches (87x107cm)

Condition: It is in Very Good condition, blank on the reverse, printed on strong paper. There are a few minor surface dings and minor signs of light use, otherwise it is very clean with no obvious defects to mention, see the pics for more on condition. The pics are of the actual photo.
