Harman/Kardon HD750 (HD-750)
Hallo!
Hiermit verkaufe ich einen unter Kennern sehr beliebten und gesuchten Player: einen Harmon/Kardon HD 750.
Größte Besonderheit an diesem Gerät ist vermutlich sein dedizierter HDCD-Decoder (High-Definition Compatible Digital), der sowohl speziell als HDCD enkodierte Discs, als auch alle anderen "normalen" CD-Medien richtig gut klingen lässt.
Besonders rar geworden ist dieser Player, weil die von H/K ursprünglich verbaute Lasereinheit recht schnell versagt hat und es weder Neuware noch funktionstüchtige Gebrauchtware auf dem Markt gibt. Zum Vergleich: ein Neugerät (mit dem minderwertigen Laser) wird aktuell für 400 Euro angeboten.
Daher habe ich mich dieses Klassikers angenommen und ihm eine neue Lasereinheit spendiert. Sie dürfte aber noch etwas Einspielzeit brauchen bis sie wirklich einwandfrei läuft, weil sie buchstäblich gerade erst getauscht wurde. Der Player ist ohnehin bekannt dafür, sehr wählerisch beim Einlesen zu sein
Rein äußerliche Gebrauchsspuren lassen sich nicht vermeiden, weil der Player ja tatsächlich in Betrieb war. Die Fernbedienung (wird allein hier für 50-70 Euro angeboten) ist ebenfalls dabei!

This listing is for a CD player very popular and searched-for among audiophiles: a Harman/Kardon HD 750.
The outstanding special feature of this player is its dedicated HDCD decoder (High Definition Compatible Digital) which does improve the sound not only of HDCD-encoded discs, but also of and "normal" CD media by unlocking a higher bitrate than the usual limits of this format.
This player has become even more rare as the optical pickup unit originally built in by the manufacturer unfortunately failed relatively quickly, meaning there were neither new nor working pre-used devices on the market. For comparison: a new device (with the low-quality original pickup unit) is currently on offer here for 400 Euros.
I have taken care of this classic and exchanged the optical pickup with a newer, high-quality one. This means that the read-in of the discs is even better and its lifespan is much longer than it was before! It might need some burn-in time to work perfectly though as it literally hast just been changed. The player is known for being a bit picky during the read-in of discs.
Cosmetic marks of use cannot be prevented, as the player was indeed used. However, the optical pickup is brand new as it was built in just this month and the player was not in use since!
The remote control is of course included.
