The NEC Raspberry PI Module allows users to select any operating systems such as Chrome, IOS, and Windows and ideal for kiosk interfaces, desktop, and networked media players. It features LAN connectivity via the display's internal LAN switch. It also has three USB ports for connecting multiple supported accessories such as keyboard, mouse, and WIFI adapters. The NEC version of the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3 contains hardware codec licensing for MPEG-2, MPEG-4, and VC-1. The USB touch device will appear to the Compute Module as a regular USB HID (Human Interface Device) device for display models with integrated touch screens.
