Large thick quarto, publisher's original beautiful embossed and heavily gilt decorated black leather. Inside gilt dentelles and silk endpapers. All edges gilt. Profusely illustrated throughout in black and white, also several full color chromolithographs. Some slight rubbing and wear, closed tear to frontispiece, some minor discoloration and foxing, else in very good + condition.
