BENJAMIN FRANKLIN -- 1835 Portrait Steel Engraving

This steel engraving is from the National Portrait Gallery/Distinguished Americans (1835), which is a very hard-to-find edition presenting great Americans in the early years of our country.  The engraving has exquisite detail characteristic of steel engraved prints. BUT has scattered foxing. See picture.     Any weird patterns in picture are a picture artifact, NOT in actual print.

A facsimile autograph is depicted under the portrait.

Scattered foxing and showing its age - Priced Accordingly

 Approx. measurements: Print is 6" X 10"; image is approx. 4" x 4.5"
