FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE....

 

From an estate liquidation on the island of Madeira in Portugal, found in an 19th century Madeiran homestead.

Matched pair of red clay / Redware / Terra Cotta flower frogs in a small size never seen before.

Made in Portugal, they stand 2 inches tall and are just a tad wider across the top.

About the size of a smallish cupcake.

This listing is for the pair.

One has escaped any condition issues.  The other has a tight stable age crack in the body as well as a small chip on the base edge.

Both have some glaze bubbles from the firing.
