These are MOLLE 1 rucksack waist belt / load carrying belts. The original MOLLE 1 design had the same belt used for both, with a plastic buckle on the back of the belt that clipped into the pack frame. That way these could be worn as war belt/ / load carrying belt or the waist belt on the pack. The plastic clip system was universally regarded as junk.

These have been modified by removing the plastic attachment for the MOLLE 1 frame and cutting off the straps that were not needed so they could be used as waist belts on MOLLE II packs, ALICE packs, other packs or as load carrying belts with or without suspenders. They do have metal D rings that allow suspenders to be attached for standalone wear, unlike the later MOLLE II belts.

You can attach a set of ALICE LC2 suspenders to these to make a great load carrying setup if using the belt in that fashion.

Please note that the straps on these to attach to a rucksack frame are oriented vertically instead of horizontally like the later MOLLE II straps. This requires some adaptation to use them on a MOLLE II frame or ALICE frame tightly, we find heavy duty wide zip ties do the job well.

The padded area on the belts are 29" wide, the total length from buckle to buckle comes out to 39". I sometimes also have some longer ones, check my other listings to see what is in stock if you need larger ones.

Used, will show some wear and fading, may have writing on them or some minor dirt/stains from military service. One show is an example and will not be the exact one you get but your will be in similar condition or better.
