This is a Vintage/Antique carbide headlamp or lamp light used by coal miners across the United States.  This is an AUTO-LITE that was produced in the U.S.A. by The UNIVERSAL LAMP CO of Springfield Illinois.  It stands approximately 3.5 inches tall and is approximately 2.5 inches wide.  It was hooked onto the miners hat using the hooks and clamps in the back. Headlamp is in good vintage/antique pre-owned condition.  It does show signs of wear consistent with years of every day use.  It is presented as I found it in it's unpolished condition with aging and patina present.  This was a necessity for any coal miner.  Item is being sold as is and is untested.  Please review and enlarge all photos for additional details, views and measurements.  Shipped via USPS Ground Advantage.
