The Zildjian K Custom Dark 14" Hi Hat Cymbals provide the immediate familiarity of a traditionally sized and weighted pair of hats but with a dark and alluring musical voice and a penetrating chick. These K Custom Dark hats comprise of a medium-thin weighted top for crisp focused tones and a medium weighted bottom for substance. There's a broad, open sizzle to be found but these hats will also produce a clean, crisp sticking sound. These hats are capable of creating some amazingly complex overtones with a dark, full-bodied voice - a versatile sound suitable for a vast range of styles and genres.

Made from B20 Bronze, these cymbals are individually poured, cast and cooled before being exposed to a complex sequence of heating, rolling, shaping, hammering, and lathing processes unique to each cymbal range. This imbues the cymbals with a full-bodied sound and great levels of projection, clarity, and durability.
