"Scottie" is approximately a 7 1/2" jointed porcelain character doll that was created by Canadian doll artist Heather Maciak as a Limited Edition Doll for UFDC's Region Five Convention held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, from September 22-24, 2005.  Included with Scottie are her original outfit, COA, "Dolly," a Boneka blue felt coat detailed with embroidery and felt appliques & pompoms, a coordinating blue felt bonnet, a white crocheted dress trimmed in blue, and a straw hat.  Unfortunately, the blue felt coat sustains moth bites and holes from storage, as the photos show.  Scottie is a recreation of F. Scott Fitzgerald and his wife Zelda's daughter.  Included with Scottie is an "H.M." incised 3" bisque baby doll that is based on an actual baby doll that the real Scottie held in a family photograph.  The baby doll comes with her original box and was given only to attendees at this event.  "Dolly" is a stiff bodied cutie with jointed arms and legs that wears a pale pink dress embellished with ribbons and embroidery.  The ribbon in her painted hair has detached from her head.  Rosettes have also detached from Scottie's hat and box. With her sweetly painted facial features and her honey blonde mohair wig, Scottie is an engaging doll created by NIADA doll artist Heather Maciak.
