This is a rare and very old antique Fulani tribal people's handmade and used bronze ring which was traditionally worn by tribal members as a finger ring and which was collected in Mali, Africa. This antique ring was made by the Fulani tribe's metalsmiths and represents an abstract cowrie shell design on the ring head and is a ring size 10 1/2. This antique Fulani ring measures 26.53mm tall from the back bottom of the ring band to the top of the ring head, the ring head measures 31.06mm wide from one tip of the cowrie shell design to the other tip and the ring measures 25mm wide across the shoulders of the ring. Pretty worn but good rustic antique tribally used condition with a lot of wear and the ring band is made of two pieces of metal which are not joined in the back but left open with a slight gap. This ring was definitely worn a lifetime if not more!
