1:10 RC Ford Escort Custom (TT-02)
The Ford Escort is a classic in the TAMIYA range. This reissue is a street custom version of the original kit 58335 from 2004 (then WRC version). The 1998 Ford Escort was originally powered by a 4 cylinder 2 liter engine with 500 hp.
The TT-02 chassis serves as the basis for the 58691 TAMIYA model in a scale of 1:10. The wheelbase, ground clearance, track and gear ratio can be adjusted in many ways and the chassis can be quickly tuned into a racer with the countless optional tuning parts. The 4WD drive with a central shaft, double wishbones and spring struts on Allen four wheels ensure a true-to-life driving pattern and the best traction. The underside of the chassis is designed to be extra smooth and the battery compartment accommodates all common battery types. The visual highlight are the wheel drivers, which have attached dummy brake discs.
