Up for auction is a beautiful censored cover from a Germany Prisoner of War, POW, held at the POW camp in Camp Opelika, Alabama and mailed to Germanyy. Postmarked December 11, 1944. Excellent condition but shows some wear. Censorship by US and Germany authorities. Sender is a prisoner named Armin Krauss.

Note the discoloration caused by chemicals applied by either US censors or Germany authorities to detect hidden writing or invisible ink!
