Crafted similar to what you would find in the colonial time period. This piece has a large "bottom" base to collect the candles drippings as well as a handle on one side for easy carrying. Before electricity, people would use these chambersticks to carry to their bedrooms (chambers) after dark.Signed Kirk and Hanle on bottom. Excellent vintage condition.
