The Miller CiNX 7 Fluid Head Kit features the CiNX 7 fluid head, several key accessories, and a resin transit case with custom-cut foam. The foam provides a dedicated slot for each of the included components of this kit.
The CiNX 7 natively has a flat base, and when purchased separately it comes with a 100mm bowl adapter. This kit includes the 100mm adapter plus a 150mm bowl adapter. Furthermore, it includes a Mitchell base adapter. Between the flat base and three adapters, you get the versatility to use the head with virtually any tripod.
When bought separately, the head is supplied with a telescoping pan handle. In this kit, the pan handle is included, and a second, articulated one is added, along with a serrated extender for it. Lastly, the kit includes an accessory mounting block that lets you attach a viewfinder, monitor, or other accessory to the fluid head. It attaches to the head and allows you to mount up to 6.6 lb loads via 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads.
Miller's CiNX 7 Fluid Head features a payload of 13.2-55 lb, 16 steps of counterbalance, and 7 + 0 steps of pan and tilt drag. It's designed with a strength-to-size ratio that provides an optimal solution for the supported load capacity. The drag and counterbalance systems offer progressive and equal increments of drag and torque to ensure ultra-soft starts and stops and balanced diagonal transitions. The CiNX 7 provides a smooth and effective workflow for heavy camera setups.
The CiNX 7 features a 3/8"-16 threaded flat base and includes a 100mm bowl claw adapter. Additionally, optional 150mm bowl or Mitchell base adapters from Miller are also supported.
The pan/tilt controls and a bubble level are all illuminated at the press of an illumination button. The CiNX 7 comes with a GP23A type battery already installed for illumination but supports multiple other types as you will find in the user manual.
For ultimate efficiency with heavy cameras, the CiNX 7 has a sideload camera plate platform with a safety lock, and it comes with an ARRI-type camera plate that can be adjusted approximately 6". It also includes a rosette-mount telescopic pan handle while supporting two in total for dual-handed operation. On the sides, it provides four anti-twist ARRI accessory mounts. The head is made of lightweight yet high-strength die-cast aluminum and rigid composite polymers. It's finished with a durable black ripple and anti-corrosive pretreatment. It also has water- and dust-resistant sealing.
The head also has a very wide operating temperature range of -40 to 149°F.
Mount your flat-based ArrowFX fluid head onto a tripod with a 150mm bowl using this D150 Claw Ball Level Adapter from Miller. This durable metal alloy adapter attaches to the flat base of the ArrowFX head or other compatible head via three M5 threads or four 3/8" universal mounting holes. The adapter is secured onto the tripod using the long center screw and a D150 clamp assembly that tightens with a locking nut. The center screw is removable if you require a different screw length for your tripod.
The Mitchell Base Adapter with Tie-Down from Miller enables you to mount select video ball heads on a Mitchell base tripod, pedestal, or dolly. This adapter is compatible with Miller ArrowX, SkyX 8, Skyline 70, and Cineline 70 fluid heads.
Mount additional accessories like a viewfinder, monitor, or light onto your AX or Arrow tripod fluid head with this AX Accessory Mounting Block from Miller. This solid metal alloy block attaches to your fluid head, allowing you to mount up to 6.6 lb of accessories using its 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads.
The Miller 3602 Resin Transit Case fits the CiNX 3, 5, or 7 fluid head and its accessories for storage and transport. The case is waterproof, impact resistant, and features an air pressure release valve. It's sealed with double-hinged latches for secure closure and supports an optional TSA-approved lock.
