Vintage Barbara Gould New York loose face powder from the 1947 Pageant collection of cosmetics, sealed and unused. The circular cardboard container with lid measures 3-1/2" diameter and 1-1/2" tall, and it holds 2-1/2 oz of powder.
The peach-colored powder is still sealed under plastic. The container is printed in red and metallic gold; on the bottom is stamped "Not to be sold." The container is solid and the exterior printing is overall in good vintage condition. This rare piece of post-War American beauty products will make a wonderful addition to a vintage cosmetics collection.
