• ITEM DETAILS: This is a superb set of eight promotional front-of-house stills from the 1970 release of The Buttercup Chain starring Hywel Bennett and Jane Asher. They come from a large, eclectic collection of front-of-house material amassed directly by a long time cinema employee. Having researched and examined them carefully I have no doubts as to their authenticity, but please rest assured that if you have any concerns I offer a no quibble, all costs refunded return policy and would never deliberately sell anything I knew to be bogus. This set is in extremely nice original condition having been stored correctly away from light and moisture in an acid free sleeve, but the collector was a smoker, and although the residual smoky smell has faded greatly in the time I've owned them, there's still a slight lingering cigarette aroma that's not intrusive and I'm sure will dissipate eventually. Otherwise they are in great shape, although they all have the indentation of a paperclip at the top and some slight age yellowing in places to the rear on some, but otherwise they are all in very nice, clean and bright condition with no other damage or significant issues, and everything is exactly as you see it in the scans.
