These boots are 18” in effective height approximately. The height will drop as boots break in - about 1/4-1/2”. The YKK zipper opens up at the bottom like a jacket - for ease of use. Please make sure to open boots all the way and not to force foot into the footbed. Readjusting the YKK zipper May be difficult at first but it gets easier as everything breaks in. Make sure to have pin inserted all the way in before pulling the zip pull up to close the zipper. It doesn’t take a lot of effort or anything but if improperly done can misalign the zipper and that’ll lead to zipper opening midway. Make sure to take proper zipper care.
