Description
Himeji Castle, a national treasure, is an echelon-style flat mountain
castle built over nine years from 1601 on top of Himeyama (altitude 46m) by
Terumasa Ikeda.
The delicate and beautiful castle, reminiscent of a soaring white heron,
is also known as Shirasagi Castle.
It is composed of a five-layered, six-story large castle tower and
three-layered smaller towers (East Small Castle, Inui Small Castle, and West
Small Castle), and each tower is connected by a double turret.
The main castle tower is a watchtower type building with a double gabled
building as its base, and the entire wall is made of white plaster and
lacquered baskets, with curved gabled gables, karaoke gables, and houndstooth
gables, and lattices are fitted into the windows. A latticework is used under
the Karahafu, and firehead windows are used on the west and small inui castle
towers.
It was registered as a World Cultural Heritage Site in 1993, and is known
as the world's most famous chalk castle, both military and artistic.
[About the kit]
The popular model Himeji Castle has been completely improved from the
assembly structure. A decorative stand was installed and the structure of the
castle tower was redesigned. Easy to assemble and assembles accurately.
Ishigaki stone is made from a single piece of Jindai ash wood that is
pasted on top of the stone wall pattern on the mount.
The stone walls that were carefully built over time became the impressive
castle tower of Himeji Castle.
Precisely processed laser parts improve assembly accuracy.
Detailed parts such as the lattice window and the hanging fish sculpture
further bring out the sense of scale.
