• Signal strength: This shows if your in-home display is close enough to your meter.

• Battery: The white battery symbol shows when the in home-display is connected to the electricity mains. The red battery symbol shows when the battery is low.

• Budget marker: Shows the maximum spend you have set for each day.

• Cost display: This shows how much you've spent on energy in pounds and pence. Use the arrow keys in the control panel to scroll back through costs for previous days.

• Budget dial: This fills up throughout the day to show you how much of your daily budget you've used.

• Fuel view: This tells you if you're seeing readings for your electricity use, gas or both.

• Control panel: Use this to control your in-home display.

• Traffic light: This show how much energy you're using right now. Green is great. Amber means you have a few things switched on around the home. Red means it's time to switch something off!
