NGC MS69 DPL EARLY RELEASES

America's National Treasures 5 oz commemorative coins are part of the United States Mint's America the Beautiful Quarters Program. This program, authorized by Congress in 2008, honors national parks and other national sites across the United States and its territories. The program features a series of quarter-dollar coins, with each coin showcasing a different national park or site.

The 5 oz silver bullion coins, also known as America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins, are a larger version of the quarters and are made of .999 fine silver. They are struck with the same designs as the quarter-dollar coins but in a larger size, making them popular among collectors and investors.

Each year, five new designs are released, each representing a different national park or site. The program began in 2010 and is scheduled to run until at least 2021, with a total of 56 coins representing 56 different national parks and sites when completed.

These commemorative coins not only celebrate the beauty and diversity of America's natural and historical treasures but also serve as a means of promoting awareness and appreciation of these sites among the general public.

Some notable designs featured on these coins include Yellowstone National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, Acadia National Park, Mount Rushmore National Memorial, and many others, each highlighting the unique landscapes, wildlife, and cultural heritage of the United States.
