This is the Fender USA SRV Stevie Ray Vaughan model.
I purchased it brand new in 1998, and based on the serial number, it was manufactured between 1996 and 1997. It comes with a tweed case, keys, manual, and other accessories.
The body weight is approximately 3.5kg. It features an alder body, maple neck, and Pau Ferro fretboard.
The pickups are Texas Special x3, and it has a 5-position switch.
The SRV model is characterized by a thicker neck grip and a vintage-style Stratocaster with a stronger overall flavor. The half-tone of the center and rear pickups has a SRV-like feeling.
The appearance has been modified to resemble a regular Stratocaster. The black SRV logo pickguard has been replaced with a plain Fender USA genuine green pickguard (a slightly greenish white) to avoid drilling new holes in the body. The original gold parts have been replaced with chrome parts except for the neck plate. The tremolo bridge has been aligned with the original left-handed hole, and the position to insert the arm is reversed from a regular Stratocaster.
There are belt scratches on the back of the body and two small dents near the bridge. The back of the neck appears to be clean. The metal parts have some cloudiness. The case shows some scratches and discoloration on the tweed exterior, but there are no issues with the key.
