1947 Bridal Fashions
Paper Doll Art Prints
by Judy M Johnson On Archival CARD STOCK!
This pretty set is part cut-work, part art, part computer manipulation. It's what I call fun to do! Since I have a huge collection of vintage fashion reference from magazines and pattern books, they sometimes call me to make paper dolls. This set is derived from a Spring 1947 Advance Pattern Book. Clothes are adjusted from scans of the pattern book pages, to fit the doll. Sometimes arms are moved, colors altered or other changes needed. These are all gowns for evening wear and for weddings. Fashions of 1947 are full of fabrics and feminine style following the deprivation during WWII. Components are arranged on a lovely Art Nouveau background.
Three pages, 8.5" x 11" are all archival and frameable.

All Archival, easy-to-cut smooth finish papers; 80# card stock.
Presented to you in a crystal-clear seal top bag.
Shipped in a stiff cardboard mailer
