Up for Consideration is a Rare Antique Original Late c1880's-1910 Native American Plains "SIOUX" Tribe Dear Leather Fringed Beaded Knife Sheath!

Wonderful late 1800's Native American Plains Indian "Sioux" Tribe Beaded Knife Sheath. It measures 9.0" in length and 3.0 inches wide at the top without the leather fringes and would fit most any large Buck or Bowie Knife. The seed bead work is absolutely sensational with each bead being hand-stitched. The leather has remained very pliable over the years and is still supple and soft. There are 3 sets of original Leather Fringe work which hangs at places 5 inches of the body. There is a Belt look on the back that has stayed intact. This has been on display in a private museum for the past 25 years. Besides a few areas of bead loss from over the many years of use this pieces is in nice usable condition with very minor ware for its age that we believe could be d
from the end of 19th century to early 1900's and would be a great addition to any Native American collection!
