 Design includes nautical rope, seashells in the corners, sea stars large and small and anatomical words some I can't make out. Some are "Anatomy of E. Asterias" "Underside" "Mouth" "Feet?" etc etc and cursive words hard to read.  Please ZOOM in for all the little details and words. "Echinoderm" spelled out in rectangular plaque at bottom of this piece ~

There's a square opening in the middle of a black circle on the back near the top. Not sure if it's for a stand to fit into for display or for attaching something for wall hanging? Perhaps the mechanism unfinished? The back has some white, black and grey paint strokes, the number 4, and what looks to be leftover paper around the edges while working with the paint perhaps and some gold glittery paint near the top.

 Definitely handmade.
