Antique Sterling Silver November teaspoon with a Chrysanthemum flower on the tip and an engraved RARE Poem for November in the bowl of the spoon.

I have had many Zodiac and birth month sterling spoons, but have never found one with a Poem engraved in the bowl. This antique saying has been found on the early 1900s postcards.

"Who first comes to this world below in dreary November's fog and snow, Should prize the Topaz amber hue, Emblem of friends and lovers true."

The shaft of the spoon is ornate with Chrysanthemum flowers and Sagittarius Zodiac symbol.

The spoon measures 5 7/8" in length and weighs 27 grams.

There are no Monograms or other engravings and it is clearly marked for Wallace Sterling.

Topaz is the birthstone for November and Citrine was added later.

A fabulous and hard to find keepsake spoon.
