~*~ Hello and welcome to the Textile Trunk! Please follow us on Instagram @textiletrunk ~*~

This wonderful piece I found in France, however it strikes me as more Eastern European than French. It's hand woven using a heavy cotton thread with some wool in the blend ~ It's STUNNING ~ very very striking pattern. This piece dates from the late 1800's , perhaps early 1900's . Someone has made a curtain from it, however the original use wouldn't have probably been as a mattress cover! I have others found with this at the time of listing , simply search my store for the words " Red pattern " and they should appear. ~This panel is the bad condition Piece of the 3 This would make a fabulous table runner, wall hanging, pillow covers ~ you name it ~ with the others it would also make a lovely and very very interesting curtain ~

APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS: 26 inches by 110 inches

CONDITION: This panel is in as found, not freshly laundered condition ~ This piece is very grubby, dirt marks that most will wash, however I'm certain that the graying won't wash! There will be some marks that just don't clean ~ ~ t I think dry cleaning is important for this piece as I can't be certain that the red dye wouldn't run, so let's say Dry clean only to be on the safe side! ( please use the zoom feature to view exactly ) This panel has signs of time and use often inherent in these remarkable finds ~*~ Please use the zoom feature on the photographs to view the exact condition ~ condition reflected in the price ~
