Amazing find! Beer brewing information that would make a fantastic gift, or useful tool, for the owner of a local brewery! Or anyone interested in brewing beer, whiskey or wine! You will not find this anywhere else!

Journal of the Institute of Brewing, antique book published in England, bound into an attractive and displayable hard cover, spine dated 1906 (but another date of 1905 is inside). Hard cover is about 6 x 8 ½ inches with 780 pages! We suggest that most of the book focuses on beer, but there are articles on whiskey and wine as well and, we assume, many of the articles can refer to all three.

We have included many photos of the contents page to give you a very good idea of what is included in here – but we did not photograph all the contents! Shown are probably a little more than half of what is published in here. Articles include:

Malt Kilns
Casks – Their Manufacture and Treatment
Corks And Other Stoppers
…Wort Boiling
The Distillation of Whiskey
Auto Digestion of Yeast
Sulphered Malt
Pasteurization of Beer in Casks
Drying of Barley
Japanese Beer
Brewing Barley
Steeping Water For Malting Purposes
Advantages of Manganese as a Manure
Can Wood Be Fermented By Bacteria?
Ratio Of Alcohol To Glycerol In Wine
Darkening Of Pale Beers
Alcohol Content Of Bread
Cooling Of Wort Without Cost

As shown. A few library-type stamps but not many and all readable. Bound hard cover with minor wear, minor blemishes. Very displayable! A beautiful book in very good condition.
