Semco Teak Sealer - NATURAL, Large

COLLECTION ONLY FROM NR32 3LZ - UNIT 14

Semco Teak Sealer is a solvent based sealer which contains pigments, UV inhibitors and moisture protection. It does NOT contain silicone, varnish, polymers or exotic oils!

Once applied, your teak will not turn grey or allow the growth of mildew. Surface soil can be washed away with mild detergent, and with seasonal recoating the teak will be preserved in its natural state for many years.

It is incredibly simple to apply, has a consistency like water and just takes a couple of minutes to apply with a paint brush, foam brush or even a clean cloth. Ensure the teak is bone dry before application.

Pint coverage (0.45 litres):- 3.75 sq mtrs

Gallon coverage (3.78 litres):- 30 sq mtrs

If you have a few items to seal, seriously consider the larger tin as it is less than four times the price of the smaller size, but has nearly eight times the product - It is MUCH better value for money, and Semco has a superb shelf life!

"Natural" will not change the colour of the teak - most suited for decks, tables etc

"Honeytone" gives the teak a warmer feel, more like teak used indoors - most suited for cabinets etc

If your teak is dirty, consider applying Wessex 2 Part Cleaner prior to Semco Teak Sealer. The cleaner will bring back your teak to looking like new. It is incredibly easy to apply and you will be astounded with the results.

How to Apply:

Make sure that the teak has been washed and cleaned - ensure that the wood is completely & thoroughly dry before sealing. We recommend 48-72 hours in between cleaning and sealing, in order to avoid sealing any moisture in.

Make certain you stir the contents of the tin thoroughly and keep mixing whilst applying the sealer to guarantee an overall even finish. Apply the sealer with a foam brush or cloth, to avoid unsightly brush marks that may be left should you use a paint brush.

It is suggested, for the best results, apply the second coat on the same day, a couple of hours later, wiping off any excess as you go.

Applications: For use on all hardwoods, yachts, decks, rails, cockpits, swimming platforms, garden furniture, garage doors, wooden surrounds and frames.

Recommendations: Apply single or double coat. Top up once in spring, approx. March / April and once in winter approx. September / October.
