FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE....

 

Found in an estate liquidation on the island of Madeira in Portugal.

Not my expertise, however, what appears to be a mold for making balls.  I was told this is a Fishing Jighead Mold. 

It is solid brass...... although previously owned, it appears to have never been used.

I believe the balls would end up being approximately 1/2 inch round.

The mold measures 4 1/2 inches long and is configured to make 3 balls at a time.  

Each half measures 1 1/2 inches wide and 1/2 inch thick.

I inserted a standard size playing card in one photo as a reference for size.
