The SP cards feature illustrations drawn exclusively by Haruhiko Mikimoto, the original character designer for this series, specifically for the Carddass Masters label. These cards showcase artwork that can only be enjoyed in this Carddass series.

This trading card series was produced by Bandai under the Carddass label, targeting adult collectors. At the time in Japan, adult-oriented trading cards were still in their infancy, and the "Aim for the Top!" Carddass series failed to gain significant popularity, leading to production being limited to the first edition only.

As a result, the production quantity of these cards is much lower compared to other popular series, with only four types of SP cards, making them extremely rare in the market.


The condition of the cards:
There are minor scratches on the surface, but they have little impact on the illustrations.
Please check the photos for confirmation, as the bottom left corner of one card is bent.

About Haruhiko Mikimoto
Haruhiko Mikimoto is a Japanese illustrator, character designer, manga artist, and animator. He is renowned for his character designs in the "Super Dimension Fortress Macross" series, starting with characters like Lynn Minmay. He has contributed to many famous anime productions, including "Aim for the Top!" and "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash." In "Aim for the Top!", the design of the beautiful girl characters is credited to Mikimoto.
