Released in 1983. KORG's first MIDI-compatible synth. At the time, it had a cost performance of less than 100,000 yen, and had sufficient specs such as 8 voices and 64 memories, and was also equipped with a simple sequencer.
This model became a hit as a "usable" synthesizer.
The oscillator uses two DCO systems to provide stable pitch and sound.
