Vintage/antique hand-made long-sleeve cotton baby vest top, with broderie anglaise edging. This is a simple wraparound style, with drawstring neck and cuffs. White.
It is definitely not suitable for actual wear, as it obviously doesn't meet modern safety standards, but it be useful for doll-dressing, education or just for pure nostalgia!
Measurements are: Chest 18", Shoulder to shoulder 8", Shoulder to hem 8.5". Hand wash only.
Condition: This garment is old, and has clearly been used many times. It needs a few stitches, particularly at the neck, as shown. It has been recently washed, so it is clean and fresh. Previous owner's laundry tag on the inside.
