In 2005, Congress commissioned theU.S. Mint to create a series of coins honoring the United States Presidents, tobe released in the order in which they served. Although the PresidentialDollars were very popular among collectors, it was decided that, due tobudgetary restraints, production of futurePresidential Dollars will be limited.Beginning with Chester A. Arthur in the spring of 2012, only collectors willingto pay a premium above face value are able to purchase the U.S. Mint'sPresidential Dollars for their collection.
