We are offering TEN silver sixpences, or "tanners" as they were fondly nicknamed at the time, these sixpences were minted by the Royal Mint in London during the reign of King George V and King George VI.
You will receive ALL TEN of the coins in the photographs - they contain 50% silver and the total weight is 27.1 grams. These coins are in "spacefiller" condition and there will be one or more of the following on these coins: dark toning, slightly bent, some oxidation, edge knocks and/or considerable wear.
These sixpences have intrinsic value as they contain 50% silver. These ten "Lucky" Silver Sixpences should prove an excellent each way win/win situation as both demand from collectors, and the price of silver, should increase over the coming years.
