The armored train (bepo) "Dzerzhinets" was formed and built in the USSR in March 1942. at the Moscow-Gorkovskaya depot of the Dzerzhinsky railway. It included an Ov-type armored locomotive (non-hardened armor 30-36 mm) with an air defense platform on the tender and four armored platforms (with turrets from the T-28 tank), closed from the outside with 30mm non-hardened armor. The armament of each armored platform is a 76mm KT-28 cannon and 6 DT machine guns.
