Grand crucifix en bois, XIXe siècle  ♦  Large wooden crucifix, 19th century

Le Christ est représenté vivant, le regard tourné vers le ciel. Le corps présente une posture très droite avec les pieds superposés et les bras légèrement relevés. Le perizonium n'est pas noué mais maintenu par une cordelette.

Belle qualité avec une patine brillante, très bon état général. Il manque le clou aux pieds et un orteil est cassé sur le pied placé derrière l'autre (voir photos). Un anneau de suspension au dos de la croix.

Croix: 48,5 x 33 cm

Christ: 31 cm (de la tête aux pieds) x 27,5 cm (de main à main)

Christ is depicted alive, with look up at the heavens. Body shows a very straight posture with superimposed feet and the arms slightly raised. Perizonium is not knotted but held by a cord.

Nice quality with a shiny finish, very good condition. The nail on the feet is missing and a toe is broken on the foot placed behind the other (see pictures). A suspension ring on the back of the cross.

Christ: 31 cm (from head to feet) x 27,5 cm (from hand to hand)
